I provide creative business rates solutions for clients across all property types throughout the UK.
After graduating from The University of Portsmouth in 2012 with a 1st class Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, my career started at the VOA (Valuation Office Agency), where I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer.
I set up DG Rating in July 2023, before this I advised clients as part of CBRE’s West End Property Taxation team, and with Flude Property Consultants as Head of Rating.
I have extensive experience in client management and providing Rating advice to national occupiers and landlords. I am based in Portsmouth on the south coast, but I am able to provide Rating advice across the whole country.
Savings are often generated through; challenging excessive Rateable Values, deleting properties from the rating list, mitigating Empty Property Rate liabilities, securing reductions due to Material Changes in Circumstances, splitting and merging assessments, and advising on reliefs & exemptions.
I specialise in finding bespoke, creative solutions in order minimise rate liabilities for all clients.
